1981
First exhibition, once again individual, at the Galeria Cadaqués
in Cadaqués.

1982
The first exhibition of the Abraçades (Embraces) series in the
Miguel Marcos Gallery of Saragossa.

1983
An important anthological exhibition at the Sala Gaspar in Barcelona
which brings together, apart from the Embraces series, a selection of his
most noteworthy works from different periods, in addition to the complete
series of his marble and bronze sculptures.

1984
A collection of more than two hundred works are brought together in the
Terrassa Cultural Centre in an exhibition sponsored by the Government of Catalonia.
Acts as artistic director for the film “El Balcón Abierto”, by
Jaime Camino.

1985
He moves his studio to Cadaqués.
Large format bronze sculpture “The Welcomer” for the Rambla de Just Oliveres in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat.
Exhibition at the Paris Contemporary Art Fair.

1986-1988
Various exhibitions, publications and actions in Heidelberg,
Valencia, Madrid, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Cadaqués, París
and Rio de Janeiro.
New sculptures in bronze and ceramics. He produces the “La Casa” series of lithographic prints and paints the “Pantocrators” series.
Artistic director of the film “Luces y Sombras” for the director
Jaime Camino, for which he receives the award for the best artistic direction, awarded by the Government of Catalonia.
Co-director with Peter Gersina of the film “Tríade”
With Bigas Luna as actor.
In the summer of 1987 he performs the action “Cadaqués Blau” in
Cadaqués, with numerous participants.
An essay on his works is published by La Polígrafa, Barcelona.

1989
Travels to Brazil. An important exhibition of his works is held at the Museum of Modern of Art of Sao Paulo.
An anthological exhibition opens at Palau Robert in Barcelona.
He illustrates the “El Callejón de los Milagros”, by Nobel prize-winner Nobel Naguib Mahfuz.
